In a gut-busting showdown that combined drama, daring and indigestion, San Jose's Joey Chestnut emerged as the world's hot dog eating champion today. In New York for the annual Coney Island hot dog eating contest, Chestnut beat 6-time winner Takeru Kobayashi in a rousing yet repulsive triumph.
